FX File Explorer offers a sleek Material Design user interface and innovative file transfer capabilities across devices and computers:
- SMBv2 support
- "FX Connect" allows for easy file transfers between phones using Wi-Fi Direct and NFC connectivity (requires FX+)

FX is a versatile file explorer that brings the convenience of computer-like file management to your phone or tablet:

FX prioritizes user privacy with the following features:
- No advertisements
- No tracking of user activity; FX does not collect any user data
- Developed by NextApp, Inc., a reputable US corporation established in 2002; all proprietary code is developed in-house
The optional FX+ Add-On module enhances functionality with the following features:
- Access to networked computers, including FTP, SSH FTP, WebDAV, and Windows Networking (SMB1 and SMB2)

- Create and explore encrypted zip files using AES-256/AES-128

- RAR file extraction
- Shell Script Executor
Android 8/9 Location Permission Notice:
- Please note that due to Android 8.0+ requirements for Wi-Fi Direct support, FX may require the "approximate location" permission. This permission allows the app to function properly but does not involve actual location tracking. The permission is only requested on Android 8.0+ when using FX Connect. Previously, this requirement was exclusive to Android 9.0, but as FX now fully supports the latest Android API, Android 8.0 also requires this permission.
